On behalf of Arizona and Arizonans, thank you for supporting affordable health coverage! The continuation of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) affordability provisions and also addressing out-of-pocket costs that keep people from accessing the care they need is critical as individuals and families recover from the pandemic. We must finish the job by making the ARP’s premium protections permanent and finally tackle the problem of unaffordable deductibles and other out-of-pocket costs. Thank you for your commitment to affordability by signing a letter led by Senator Shaheen lifting up these priorities.

Thanks to the American Resue Plan, nearly one million people have gained coverage during the current special enrollment period, accessing the tax credits and needed health coverage and care during the pandemic. We can do more – and should—as people consistently cite the high cost of health care as their number one concern, including 60 percent of voters in recent surveys. We in The Grand Canyon State applaud your commitment to keeping coverage affordable and building on the success of the American Rescue Plan Act.
