Arizona's Medicaid program (AHCCCS) can now easily extend postpartum coverage from 60 days to a full year after pregnancy, but they need state lawmakers to help them make this critical change. 

For the 70 people per year in Arizona who die and for the nearly 1,000 more who experience severe complications in the year after pregnancy, access to affordable, having high-quality health coverage through AHCCCS could be the difference between life and death.
